Cutting-edge artistic collaborations and new faces set to showcase at Scoop

The AW20 edition of Scoop, the UK’s leading premium contemporary womenswear show located at Old Billingsgate Market London from the 9th – 11th February, is set to be a source of new talent, art, and collaborations offering buyers and visitors next season’s cutting-edge pieces from designers championing the arts, sustainability and women’s rights.

Already a fan of fashion editors, Poppy Field the label, created by French couple Jade and Benoît in Bali, will present its bohemian, authentic ready to wear ethical clothes designed and conceived to sublimate the beauty of the female body and inspired by the couple’s travels. The new collection features 32 traditional and handmade pieces consisting of tops, dresses, pants and wool sweaters created using noble materials such as silk, rayon, batik, and vegan leather treated with tree bark oil, and with maximum respect for nature and human rights – supporting the Bali Wise Foundation.

Visit Scoop for creative collaborations from Issey Miyake x United Nude, and absolut x Castelbajac, as well as a host of new faces making their Scoop debut including Devotion, Stardust, Lyla Wilde, Amy Henley, Petite Mendigote, Mary Ching, Liebre Style, 4160 Tuesdays and many more.

The primary coloured POP cashmere collection absolut x Castelbajac from Absolut Cashmere is inspired by Love: love around the world, between human beings, love for the planet, the feeling of cohesion. United Nude upholds its strong connection to architectural design and exploration of the possibilities offered by movement, colours and materials. Commencing with its inaugural ‘Möbius’ shoe, the brand is guided in equal parts by pushing the boundaries of footwear design, and collaborating on limited edition releases with high profile designers from Iris Van Herpen to Zaha Hadid, and, debuting at Scoop, the AW20 Issey Miyake x United Nude collection.

Celebrated labels from Scoop returning to the line-up include Ragdoll LA, Paul & Joe, Swildens, Suncoo and Duffy making this season’s event unmissable. Visitors will also discover a beauty showcase from MALIN+GOETZ. With a nod to Scoop’s AW20 campaign theme, MALIN+GOETZ will celebrate all things travel, scenting the space with its candles, and offering complimentary hand and arm massages using its new meadowfoam oil balm and peppermint body scrub, and complimentary samples and testers to try on its stand.

Karen Radley, founder and managing director of Scoop says: “Our raison d'être at Scoop is to create a cross-pollination between all the arts, bringing together cutting-edge design, fashion and art. This season will see a special installation by Ibizan artist Oliver Merlin, as he aligns with Scoop to support world-renowned wildlife charity The Aspinall Foundation, some truly exciting and artistic designer collaborations and new faces. I personally look forward to welcoming buyers to the showcase of the season.”

Scoop is renowned internationally for its exclusive presentation and expertly curated edit of fashion designers and labels from Britain and the rest of the world, many of whom select the show as their launch pad. The show welcomes premium department stores from across the globe including Harvey Nichols, Brown Thomas, John Lewis, Voisins, Galeries Lafayette, Beymen and Le Bon Marche as well as independent boutiques such as Aria Boutique, Found, Iris Fashion, Jules B, and Sue Parkinson.
